BIO: John Lightle is a writer and photographer spending many hours sitting on his woodpile contemplating. When away from his frame shop, he schleps his artwork among area artshows. The job takes him across the countryside, occassionally overseas, photographing the quiet resolve found within the golden hours.

For as little as $1/month, your financial support would help pay for the costs of running these various websites, take the time to promote the work and events, get to trade shows and conferences, and still pay for a very simple lifestyle. For the last five years, this has all come out my own bank account and it’s hard at times. I need your help even with the submission fees. (Submittable keeps 30%, and I pay for the websites and domains, promotion costs, printing costs etc.)
I would like to keep you as part of my creative, travel, and personal life. The emotional support of knowing you care enough to subscribe to this website, to the newsletters, to the Wanderlust Journal keeps me motivated. Your interest in my projects makes all the difference; writing and solo traveling can be isolating (but not lonely!). I’d like to keep building our community here.
Thank you, Sarah
