Living in a Painting by Alexandra Ridinger

Travel Photos from Germany.

A Different Side of Hamburg: The Elbphilharmonie sits on the Elbe Rive in Hamburg. Taken on a night cruise, the light and reflections make the beauty of the building stand out.

Berlin Remembrance: Taken at Bebelplatz, the window in the ground stands for a memorial to the books burned throughout the various universities during World War II. To me, the reflections of the people looking down also shows us reflecting on what happened during that time.

Color in History: Taken in Hanover, the older historical buildings stand out among the newer sections of Hanover. The buildings are very colorful and stand out among the streets.

In A Fairytale: We adventured to a small town near Koblenz, called Winningen. It is beautifully set among the mountains with grapevines. The town is made of mostly cobblestone streets and picturesque views.

Living in a Painting: During the Red Thread Trail in Hanover, we discovered the Leine River running through the middle of town. I felt like I was living in an impressionistic painting when we walked along side of it.
